SAN ANDRÉS

The best for last ... San Andrés Island of course!

There you will fall in love with the landscapes, the reggae atmosphere that reigns, the simplicity and the smile of the locals, and I forget ...

It is a paradise island but above all less touristy, it is still protected from the crowds for the moment.

To get there, just take a flight from Cartagena de Indias (around 1 hour) or take the ferry. Indeed, San Andrés is a Colombian island in the Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Nicaragua.

Below you will find some photos taken during my visit in December 2019 for 1 week.

Do not miss these places to visit:

- Johnny Cay: the most paradisiacal small island of the archipelago: palm trees, music, food and translucent water.

- La piscinita: a natural swimming pool ideal for surface diving. On the menu: slide, diving board, fish ...

- El hoyo soplador: it is a natural phenomenon produced by a series of underground tunnels dug into the rock that meet a few meters from the sea. At high tide and when the wind pushes the waves in these tunnels, the air and water are compressed in the tunnels and come out with a strong pressure like a jet (average of 5 meters).

- Excursions such as: swimming with sharks, rays, multicolored fish, jet skiing while greeting rays ...

- The Ibiza bar: not to be missed, friends! This bar is actually like a sort of house on the water (see photo) right in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, surrounded by crystal clear water ... I highly recommend it!

In short, you will understand that this island is a must ... San Andrés rhymes with NO STRESSSS :)
